The 2017 Haunted Trail Balboa Park is starting on Friday, September 29th and runs through Monday, October 31st. Hours of operation are from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm on most days and 6:30pm to 11:30pm on Friday and Saturday nights.

Located in San Diego’s world famous Balboa Park, The Haunted Trail is a stroll through the park you will never forget. Enter the mile long Trail through the twisted grove of pines and gnarled oaks. Visitors watch your back, you’ll never know which way the terror will hit you.

This rare October at The Haunted Trail, it’s Friday the 13th EVERY night as Jason has pitched a tent at Camp Crystal Lake. Prep yourself, as the trail begins with a horrifying maze of over 3,500 square feet of PURGE-infested terror. If that isn’t scary enough for you, follow the red balloon, “IT” will lead you to Penny-Wise, the Dancing Clown who is waiting for you in the sewer by the Ghoul Bus. Annabelle and the Nun have possessed the farm house, Krampus and his snowmen are terrorizing the trail and back by popular demand, the Stranger Things house and upside down world return. This year, you can get up close and personal with horror icons like Pennywise, Leatherface, Freddy, and Michael Myers.

True to form, the Haunted Trail is not for children under 10 or the faint of heart. Experience an outdoor terror that is simply too big to house indoors.

Before you are sent through the Trail, you will have to find your way out of a maze that is so disturbing it can only be described as, “The eXperiment”.
