New to the site: the 17th Edition Brazilian Festival comes to San Diego for the first time in over a decade on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 2pm to 11pm at Waterfront Park.
Since its founding in 2012, the Annual Brazilian Festival has grown into one of the largest Brazilian cultural celebrations in the country, and 2026 marks its first San Diego edition in more than twelve years. The festival features samba and bossa nova performances, capoeira demonstrations, a carnival parade, and a lineup including Latin Grammy-nominated artist Paula Lima and gold- and platinum-selling group Negritude Júnior.
Expect authentic Brazilian cuisine from local food vendors, artisan crafts, cultural exhibits, and a dedicated kids zone, all set against the Waterfront Park backdrop along San Diego Bay. Kids under 12 get in free.
