The Inaugural Ride for Children & Expo is a fundraiser sponsored by Veteran organization, the Green Knights MMC 117, along with Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego. This charity brings awareness to children with critical illness and trauma: children that are too frail or hurt to participate in Make a Wish or other charities that provide for children battling disease or injury.

This event is Saturday, October 1st from 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM at Qualcomm Stadium: 9449 Friar’s Rd, San Diego, CA 92108.

Children 15 and younger are free and there are lots of kid friendly booths and activities. Adults 16 and older are $15 which includes all the performances such as: SDSU Marching Aztecs, local rock bands, Jing Chinese Martial Arts, Unity Hoops, meet Star Wars Characters, meet the National Championship Enforcer Football Team and Cheer Leaders – lots of silent auction items and prizes, great food and drink and plenty of free parking.

This family friendly event will consist of:

• Benefit Run for Car and Motorcycle enthusiasts (Sponsored by the San Diego Auto Museum)
• Classic, Hotrod Car and Motorcycle Show (over 200 cars and bikes)
• Live Music courtesy of Gig Town
• The San Diego Charger Girls (performance and meet and greet)
• National Championship San Diego Enforcer Semi-Pro Law Enforcement Football Team
• Enforcer Girls Cheerleaders (performance)
• In the Midst 777 Rock Group, Koda Sound, Jackstones and Seeking Alpha (These are some great local bands donating their time for children with critical illness and trauma)
• Marching Aztecs Drumline (performance which will be amazing. They will also perform in our tribute honoring the military, police, fire, and rescue “Hometown Heroes”)
