New to the site: Panda Fest made its San Diego debut April 25-26, 2026 at Waterfront Park, bringing one of the largest outdoor Asian food festivals in the U.S. to downtown.
The two-day event featured 80+ Asian food vendors serving over 200 types of street food from China, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, and more, plus 30+ merchandise vendors. Entertainment included K-pop dance crews, lion dancers, and samurai demonstrations, alongside a 15-foot inflatable panda, a panda bounce ring, themed desserts, and interactive games.
Tickets ranged from $11 (early bird) to $35 (VIP), with Saturday admission running $2 more than Sunday.
As a first-year event, a 2027 return has not yet been officially confirmed, though Panda Fest operates similar festivals in multiple U.S. cities on a recurring basis.
