New to the site: the San Diego Food + Wine Festival (formerly the San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival) returns November 6-8, 2026 with a newly expanded Two-Day Grand Weekend along San Diego Bay at the Port of San Diego’s Embarcadero Marina Park North.
The weekend opens Friday, November 6 with SDFW Opening Night: Icons + Legends, a curated evening tasting with award-winning chefs and top producers. Saturday brings the festival’s signature Grand Tasting, a walk-around afternoon of chef-driven bites, wine, craft cocktails, and regional flavors. Sunday shifts to Grand Fiesta, a Latin-inspired celebration of the San Diego-Baja culinary connection featuring Mexican wines and spirits, borderland cuisine, music, and art. The event also includes the “Chef of the Fest” cooking competition.
