The Talmadge Block Party returns Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 2 to 6pm, taking over the 4600 block of Euclid Avenue at its intersection with Adams Avenue and Miracle Drive. The 2026 edition celebrates 100 years of the Talmadge neighborhood.
Founded as a way for neighbors to come together and foster community spirit, the entirely volunteer-run event draws hundreds of attendees from the more than 1,200 homes that make up Talmadge, along with local businesses, community groups, and public officials. Expect live music, games, food, activities for kids and adults, and prize giveaways.
The block party is self-supporting, with additional proceeds donated to local causes; past beneficiaries have included Hoover High School, Fay and Edison Elementary Schools, and the YMCA.
