The East Village Association has announced that the 2026 Taste of East Village has been postponed.
The event had been scheduled for Wednesday, October 14 and Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 4pm to 8pm each evening in downtown San Diego’s East Village neighborhood. The official event page now states that the 2026 Taste has been postponed. No reason or new date has been given.
The self-guided food tour typically invites ticket holders to eat, sip, and stroll their way through the neighborhood as more than 30 local restaurants open their doors to serve bites and sips, ranging from Michelin-starred kitchens to casual favorites. Each night follows a different route: Day 1 covers the South Route and Day 2 the North Route, so guests can attend one night or both.
Ticket holders receive a Taste Passport at check-in that maps out every participating restaurant and its menu offerings. Tickets are limited and typically sell out.
