New to the site: the Vista Strawberry Festival returns to Historic Downtown Vista on Sunday, May 30, 2027, from 8am to 6pm.
Billed as the only festival in San Diego County dedicated entirely to strawberries, this Vista Chamber of Commerce tradition draws around 90,000 attendees each year to Main Street for a day of strawberry picking and sampling, vendor booths selling fresh berries, arts and crafts, and family-friendly contests including a pie-eating contest and a Strawberry Idol singing competition. A Strawberry Run kicks off the morning for those looking to earn their shortcake.
The festival is free to attend with free parking, and shuttles run every 15 minutes from Vista High School and the Vista courthouse to help ease access to the Main Street Historical area.
