Here’s a quick run-down of what’s new here at SD Street Fairs.
Upcoming Events “View By” selector
You can now see all upcoming events in Map view or Photo view. To switch views, just click the “VIEW AS” menu at the top of the main events page or event category page.
Map view plots all events on a Google map so you can zoom and pan to your neighborhood and see just those events. It’s a great way to see a snapshot of everything happening around town.
Photo View formats all upcoming events into a photo-grid layout so you can see more events on a single page along with the featured photo for each.
Our new “Street Spot” feature
We’re also launching a new Street Spot feature that will be included on our website as well as our weekly emails and social media posts. Each week we’ll include something new we discovered around town – a favorite new restaurant, bar, or cool spot.

This weeks Street Spot is ChuckAlek Biergarten & brewery in North Park, with food from neighboring Tostadas. Old school beers & a great relaxing outdoor space. It’s tucked behind Art Produce on University Ave & Herman Ave.
