Alta Vista Botanical Gardens, inside Brengle Terrace Park in Vista, hosts its 18th annual Fall Fun Festival on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 10am to 3pm.
The free, family-friendly event has kids building and entering silly scarecrows (dropped off October 9-10 for judging at the festival), decorating pumpkins, making crafts, and enjoying music and dance while exploring the 6-acre non-profit gardens. A plant sale and garden shop round out the day, with barbecue lunch, snacks, water, and soda available for purchase. Distinct from the gardens’ NovemberFest in the Gardens beer, wine, and mead festival held the following month.
