New to the site: the Pumpkin Festival Craft Fair returns to Bates Nut Farm in Valley Center on Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 9am to 5pm both days.
Over fifty artisans set up shop for this fall arts ‘n crafts fair, selling handmade jewelry, woodworking, candles, toys, and other unique goods. The farm’s famous Pumpkin Patch is open the same weekend, with fall decorations, tractor hayrides, a straw maze, and food from a variety of vendors. Live music plays on the Bates Stage from 12-3pm.
Admission is free; parking costs $10 on October weekends.
