New to the site: BirdStock Music Festival returns to the Bird Rock neighborhood of La Jolla on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10am to 7pm along the 5500-5700 blocks of La Jolla Blvd.
This free, family-friendly outdoor festival is hosted by the nonprofit Bird Rock Community Council and features five stages of live music, an artisan market with local vendors, and kid- and pet-friendly activities including a pumpkin patch, hat bar, book readings, and a pet adoption zone. New for 2026 is OktoBIRDFest, a San Diego-style Oktoberfest beer garden running from noon to 7pm alongside the usual beer and wine garden offerings.
Proceeds support local schools, coastline preservation, and the surrounding Pacific Beach and La Jolla community. 91X Music Director Rick Savage is hosting the Big Wave Stage this year.
