New to the site: the 29th Annual Lemon Festival takes over Downtown Chula Vista’s Third Avenue on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 11am to 6pm.
The free, family-friendly street festival celebrates Chula Vista’s history as the one-time “Lemon Capitol of the World.” Expect two stages of live music, lemon-themed food and treats, a kids zone for the “Lil’ Lemons,” and arts and crafts vendors lining Third Avenue. Past editions have drawn around 30,000 attendees and 250 exhibitors.
