New to the site: the Del Mar Wine + Food Festival returns for a weeklong celebration September 30 - October 4, 2026, capped by a two-day Grand Tasting on Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4 at Surf Sports Park (the former Del Mar polo fields) in Del Mar.
Themed “Play More Every Day,” the festival brings together SoCal’s top chefs and most beloved restaurants, renowned winemakers, and notable names from sports, surf, and entertainment, including past headliners like Drew Brees, Alex Morgan, and Rob Machado. The week includes chef-curated dinners, wine and spirits tastings, and lifestyle events across San Diego County ahead of the walk-around Grand Tasting weekend at Surf Sports Park.
The festival partners with Feeding San Diego, a hunger-relief nonprofit, with a portion of proceeds supporting their work.
