New to the site: the 2026 Dragonfly Music Festival lands at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido for three nights, Thursday through Saturday, September 10–12, 2026, with music starting each afternoon (4pm Thursday and Friday, 3:30pm Saturday).
The festival spans multiple indoor and outdoor stages at the venue, including the Concert Hall, the Centennial stage, and the Lyric Courtyard, with a Vendor Village of clothing, jewelry, art, and specialty vendors inside the Concert Hall. Each night has its own musical theme: blues, honky-tonk, and world music on Thursday; rock, jazz, soul, pop, and western swing on Friday; and blues-rock, southern rock, rockabilly, cumbiabilly, and alt-rock on Saturday. Group hikes in the Escondido area are also offered Friday and Saturday mornings.
Originally launched in Sedona, Arizona in 2021 under the “Hike by Day, Music by Night” banner, the festival relocated to San Marcos for a one-day 2025 edition before expanding to this three-day 2026 return in Escondido. All ages are welcome, with a VIP package available.
