The East Village Tree Lighting & Holiday Market lights up downtown San Diego’s East Village on Sunday, November 29, 2026, from 4pm to 8pm.
The festive community evening features a curated holiday market of hand-crafted gifts, live music, food, activities for kids, and photos with Santa, with the neighborhood decked out in holiday décor.
At 6:45pm, the East Village Association and San Diego’s elected officials lead the lighting of the neighborhood Christmas tree, the highlight of the night. Holiday vendors make it a good chance to get a jump on holiday shopping while enjoying the music and festive atmosphere.
