New to the site: Gator By The Bay returned to Spanish Landing Park May 7-10, 2026, transforming the waterfront into what organizers call the most authentic Louisiana cultural celebration on the West Coast.
The four-day festival featured more than 100 live performances across seven stages, Mardi Gras-style celebrations, and roughly 10,000 pounds of crawfish trucked in directly from Louisiana. The 2026 lineup included Jon Cleary & The Absolute Monster Gentlemen, Dumpstaphunk, Chubby Carrier, Geno Delafose & French Rockin’ Boogie, and Rick Estrin & The Nightcats.
Free Zydeco and Cajun two-step dance lessons were offered at the Bon Temps Social Club Dance Pavilion, and the Mardi Gras Market featured juried artists and vendors selling handmade jewelry, artwork, and festival merchandise.
