Holiday Lights in Downtown El Cajon returns on Sunday, December 6, 2026, from 3 to 7pm, culminating in a tree lighting ceremony at Prescott Promenade at 6:30pm.
The free, community-wide event features a microbubble “Snow Zone,” live music, kids’ train rides, photos with Santa, and a festive artisan market featuring local vendors along Downtown El Cajon’s Main Street.
Presented by the Downtown El Cajon Association, the afternoon is one of East County’s popular seasonal kickoffs, drawing families downtown for an evening of holiday cheer.
