New to the site: The Hotel del Coronado kicks off the holiday season with its annual free community Holiday Festival on Wednesday, December 2, 2026.
The evening includes performances by local Coronado school children, a “Skydiving Santa” who parachutes onto Del Beach at 4:30pm, the resort’s beachfront “Skating by the Sea” ice rink on Windsor Lawn (open 4-10pm), a lightshow spectacular set to music across the hotel’s historic pine trees (5-9pm), and a fireworks show over Del Beach at 6:45pm.
The festival is free and open to the public, though some activities like ice skating may carry separate fees.
