The City of Imperial Beach’s Día de los Muertos Community Celebration takes place at Veterans Park on Monday, November 2, 2026, from 3 to 6pm. The free family event is presented by Imperial Beach Parks, Recreation & Community Services with the Friends of the Imperial Beach Library and the County of San Diego Library.
One of the city’s annual signature events, the celebration features live music, Ballet Folklórico performances, Aztec dancers, face painting, arts and crafts, and a community altar. Visitors are welcome to bring photo copies of loved ones (4x6 or smaller, no glass frames) to add to the altar; free cardboard frames are provided.
