New to the site: Julian Farm and Orchard’s Harvest Fest returns every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from September 4 through November 15, 2026, with a Soft Opening weekend September 4-6, a Grand Opening weekend September 11-13, and a Final Weekend November 13-15.
The 25-acre u-pick farm just outside Julian (in the Wynola area along Julian Hwy/CA-78) turns its pumpkin patch, apple orchard, and petting zoo loose for fall, with hayrides, a straw maze, cider press demonstrations, axe throwing, a rock wall, and a bell ringer alongside the usual u-pick pumpkins and apples (via apple tours). New this year: Little Farmers John Deere trikes, sandboxes, and professional face painting from Gaby’s Facepainting on weekends. Food and drink on-site are handled by the Julian Food Truck.
The farm is also running its 3rd Annual Scarecrow Building Competition, with local businesses and community organizations submitting handmade scarecrows for guests to vote on between September 12 and October 26; the winner is announced October 27.
General admission and farm activities can be purchased online or at the ticket booths; u-pick and add-ons are sold on-site only and subject to availability. Parking is free, with an overflow lot open Saturdays and Sundays.
