The Little Italy Tree Lighting & Christmas Village takes over the neighborhood on Saturday, December 5, 2026, from 4 to 8pm, with the Tree Lighting Ceremony beginning at 6:30pm.
Little Italy is decorated with twinkle lights, 10-foot nutcrackers, and kinetic tree displays on street corners. The celebration features two Christmas trees: the Aurora tree by artist Joshua Hubert at Piazza Basilone and a permanent 25-foot tree at Piazza della Famiglia, where the traditional Italian-style lighting ceremony takes place.
The Christmas Village fills India Street between W. Cedar and W. Grape Streets with holiday gift and artisan vendors, joined by select Little Italy Mercato vendors. Live music, Christmas songs, holiday treats, and a visit from Santa round out the family-friendly evening.
