New to the site: The Hong Konger Club is presenting the first Mid-Autumn Festival ever held in North County on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 2 to 5pm at the Oceanside Civic Center Community Room.
The free, family-friendly celebration is expected to draw 300–400 residents from Oceanside, Vista, Carlsbad, San Marcos, and surrounding communities, with an Opening Ceremony at 3pm featuring greetings from local elected officials, community leaders, and cultural representatives. Festivities include community resource tables, mooncake tastings, traditional craft stations, cultural performances, and lantern displays and photo spots.
“This celebration brings together families, youth, and community partners across North County,” said JT of The Hong Konger Club. “We’re excited to share Asian traditions and build cultural connections in a region where the Asian community continues to grow.”
The Hong Konger Club is a community organization supporting Hong Kong and Asian immigrants and their allies through cultural programming, social networking, and civic engagement.
