The 2017 Oceanside Dia de los Muertos celebration on Sunday, October 29th, from 10am to 4pm, at the Old Mission San Luis Rey.
Dia de los Muertos, or “Day of the Dead,” is an all-day community event with diverse cultural traditions, remembering and honoring deceased loved ones. This free family event features car shows, live entertainment, cultural competitions, and community celebration.
As you take in the traditional Day of the Dead tributes such as chalk cemeteries, floral alters, vehicular altars and other such remembrances, you can’t help but feel a sense of calmness and serenity come over you making this the most emotionally altering Dia you’ll ever experience!
Feel the experience of joining a celebration that will feature Food, Por Siempre Car Show, Live Entertainment, Chalk Cemetery, and Arts & Crafts.
