New to the site: The Old Mission Beach Athletic Club (OMBAC) hosts the 74th annual Over the Line World Championship over two weekends, July 10-11 and July 17-18, 2027, at Fiesta Island Park.
Over-the-Line is a bat-and-ball beach game invented in San Diego in the 1950s, played by three-person teams without base running. Beyond the competition, OTL has a festival-like, adults-only atmosphere with costumed teams, tents, and beach parties, drawing hundreds of thousands of spectators over the two weekends. The event is free and open to the public to watch; no glass containers are allowed, and BYOB is permitted alongside on-site food and drink vendors.
