New to the site: the San Diego Soul Food Fest returns Saturday, August 1, 2026 from 11am-4pm in North Park, at the North Park Mini Park behind the North Park Theatre (near North Park Way).
Started in 2021, the festival highlights and celebrates the soulful cuisines of the African Diaspora, featuring African, Caribbean, and African-American food vendors alongside entertainment, an author interview, and more. General admission grants access to vendors and entertainment, while tasting tickets add three tastings of the attendee’s choice from participating vendors.
