The City of Santee’s annual Holiday Lighting returns to Santee Trolley Square on Friday, November 20, 2026, from 5:30 to 8:30pm, with the tree lighting at 6:15pm.
The free, festive evening features live music by the band Upstream, face painting, holiday photo opportunities, sledding, and photos with Santa. Community booths line the square, and the event takes place rain or shine.
Parking at Trolley Square is limited, so the city recommends arriving by MTS trolley, which stops right at the square, or grabbing dinner at one of the nearby restaurants before the lighting.
