St. Michael’s Jazz Fest returns to Carlsbad Village for its third year on Saturday, September 26, 2026, on the campus lawn at St. Michael’s by-the-Sea, 2775 Carlsbad Blvd.
The free, family-friendly festival celebrates jazz and brass band music, with this year’s lineup featuring Monette Marino Keita, the Euphoria Brass Band, the Matt Neu Jazz Trio (featuring Teryn Ré), and Mercedes Moore Swing, among others. Past editions have brought in New Orleans acts including the Grammy-winning Rebirth Brass Band. The festival is dedicated to creating community through music, offering a day of free performances alongside educational workshops, and providing performance opportunities for San Diego’s military bands, school ensembles, and music education nonprofits.
The event is presented with support from the City of Carlsbad’s Cultural Arts Office, Visit Carlsbad, and the Carlsbad Village Association.
