New to the site: the Super Girl Surf Festival turns 20 in 2026, returning to the Oceanside Pier for three days, Friday through Sunday, August 21-23. Festival hours are 9am-8pm Friday, 8am-9pm Saturday, and 8am-7:30pm Sunday.
Billed as the world’s largest women’s surf, music, sports, and lifestyle festival, the free event brings together more than 160 top female surf pros competing in a World Surf League qualifying event, alongside 600+ women competing across 10 sports including beach volleyball, soccer, flag football, cheer and dance, skateboarding, and BMX.
The Festival Village runs 10am-6pm daily at the Oceanside Pier Amphitheatre with autograph signings, an all-female DJ showcase, fitness and wellness classes, a female art exhibition, roller skating, an adult beverage garden, local food vendors, and more than 50 brand activations. Free concerts on the SMKFLWR Stage feature Iration, Hippie Sabotage, B.o.B, K.Flay, and more; concert admission is free but requires advance registration for amphitheater access.
Established in 2007, the festival was developed as a celebration of female strength and empowerment, providing social, athletic, cultural, and entertainment opportunities for young women.
