The University Heights Fall Festival returns to Birney Field on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from noon to 5pm. The free, family-friendly event brings live music, food trucks, craft beer, a vendor market, and a pumpkin patch to the heart of University Heights.
Activities include carnival games, face painting, lawn games, and a horse-drawn hayride, along with a 21+ beer and wine garden and a local artisan vendor market. Kids can pick out a carving pumpkin at the festival’s pumpkin patch, with proceeds supporting the students of Alice Birney Elementary School.
The festival is hosted by Friends of Alice Birney Elementary, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, in partnership with the University Heights Garden Club, benefiting the school’s more than 530 students. Free parking is available near Birney Elementary at 4345 Campus Avenue, with the festival itself at Birney Field, 4324 Park Boulevard.
