The Vista Chamber of Commerce and its Latino Business Outreach Committee host the 3rd Annual Vista’s Fiestas Patrias on Sunday, September 13, 2026, from noon to 4pm at the Linda Rhoades Recreation Center.
The free, family-friendly celebration honors Hispanic heritage and Mexican Independence Day with a Grito de Independencia ceremony held with the Mexican Consulate in San Diego, live performances from ballet folklorico groups and mariachi bands, a Loteria game, and contests including a “Best Dressed Vestimenta Tradicional” traditional-attire contest and a history trivia contest. Kids’ activities include inflatable rides and a dedicated free activities area.
