New to the site: the Coronado Holiday Parade & Tree Lighting returns Friday, December 4, 2026, kicking off the holiday season on the island with a parade down Orange Avenue and the lighting of Coronado’s iconic 120-foot Christmas tree.

Made possible through a community partnership between the City of Coronado, the Coronado Chamber of Commerce, and Discover Coronado, the beloved tradition draws around 17,000 spectators and features over 1,400 parade participants — floats, marching bands, local businesses, and community groups — moving along Orange Avenue beginning at 7th Street and looping at RH Dana and Adella. The parade route ends near Rotary Park, where the towering Christmas tree, strung with more than 18,000 twinkling lights, and a menorah are lit following the procession.

The event is free and family-friendly. Exact parade start time and full-day schedule for 2026 had not been finalized on the Chamber’s site as of this listing, so check the official page closer to the date for final timing.
