The City of El Cajon has announced that the 2026 HauntFest on Main has been canceled.
HauntFest on Main is typically a family-friendly Halloween event in Downtown El Cajon, with attractions and live music on two stages. The City of El Cajon’s Parks and Recreation special events page lists the 2026 event as canceled. No reason or replacement date has been given.
In past years the event has featured a pumpkin patch, a costume contest, a Kidz Zone with outdoor movies, candy challenge activities, and carnival rides and games.
