New to the site: the 70th Annual La Jolla Christmas Parade & Holiday Festival takes place Sunday, December 6, 2026, with the theme “A Village Christmas: Celebrating 70 Years of Holiday Tradition.”
The parade steps off at 1 p.m., running north on Girard Avenue from Kline Street, turning west on Prospect Street, and ending at the La Jolla Recreation Center. Expect marching bands, floats, equestrian units, vintage vehicles, canine units, and local schools, nonprofits, and community organizations.
The accompanying Holiday Festival at the Rec Center also begins at 1 p.m. and features family-friendly activities including games, crafts, Santa visits, and a new Christmas Market this year.
